2013 has been a busy year here at Sprout. As the year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your business and reflect on some of the many improvements that we’ve built to make Sprout even better for your social team.
Engagement Report
As in previous years, in 2013 we focused on helping you better engage with your audience. We introduced the Engagement Report, a report full of metrics including response rates and times that make it easy to understand, measure and improve how you interact with people who mention your brand. Along with the Engagement Report, we introduced the Response Rate indicator in the Smart Inbox and MustBePresent.com. These tools help you quickly gauge your responsiveness and see just how responsive you are compared to similar brands.
Task Enhancements & Team Report
Collaborating with a team got a lot easier too. The redesign of Tasks provides a nice, clean way to organize items that need follow up – whether it’s a General Task, Support Issue, or Sales Lead. Sprout’s Team Report goes hand-in-hand with Tasks. In addition to tracking publishing and response metrics, the Team Report makes it easy to track task completion rates and times at the individual user level.
Feedly Integration
Speaking of Google, 2013 saw the retirement of Google Reader. We were happy to work with the team at Feedly to seamlessly replace Google Reader so that you can keep finding and sharing content within the Sprout platform.
Android App Redesign
We know that social media is an around the clock commitment so we’re extremely focused on making Sprout easy to use on the go. The fully redesigned Android application was a huge upgrade built to make Sprout even better on your Android phone or tablet. We can’t wait for you to see our new iOS 7 app – coming soon.
The Sprout team released more than a feature per week throughout the year. Here are a few highlights:
Personal Mode: Connect your personal profiles and manage your social activity using the Sprout features you already know.
Advanced Permissions: Customize access within Sprout for your team members based on their roles and responsibilities.
Annual Payments: Simplify your billing – pay just once per year and save 10%.
Geo-Target Tweets: Target your tweets by country to reach the right audience on Twitter.
We are committed to constantly evolving to help you better engage with your audience and more effectively manage your social media presence. We hope 2013 was a great year for you and we look forward to growing with you in 2014 and beyond.
